I am pleased to be able to welcome you to our new web site. We have now returned to our original web hosts, Bob Tuthill and his partner Francis Donlevy and I hope this will mean that we are able to keep the site fully up to date. So far we have included reports on all the Provincial events of last year together with photos. It is the intention that these will not be replaced by the latest reports as they occur but will be archived so that you will be able to look back and see what happened in past years.

Quite apart from the Web Site acting as a source of information about what is going on in the Province, I would like Preceptories to promote their own activities, with reports whenever something special has occurred. Perhaps a notable candidate/s, an anniversary meeting, the donation of something special for the Preceptory or a special visitor. If it’s out of the normal run of meetings, let everyone else in the Province know about it with a report (perhaps an abridged version of the minutes) and photos.

One last thing I’ve been trying to get off the ground for some months: information on the availability of regalia including a regalia exchange. Regalia, especially for our Order, is expensive. Our Warden of Regalia is active and very keen to be of service, whether it be to make changes/exchanges in mantle badges or provide a part or complete set of regalia, which he can usually obtain and supply to you at very competitive prices. As an example of this, the Province is now able to supply swords for only £40.00, which makes a large difference to the overall cost of a set of regalia. We are slowly heading towards the Warden of Regalia having his own page where you will be able to get the latest details. As soon as you know, let him know what your needs are, or what you no longer need. Someone else is sure to want it! If you know of someone who has left the Order please let the Warden of Regalia know, with a view to making that former member’s regalia available to a new Knight. The success of this will largely depend on your use of the Warden of Regalia.

Brother Knights, we now have what I hope will be both an interesting and informative site. Please use it!
