In October, E.Kt. Charles Stoddard was received into the 4th Grade in the Suth Seaxe Lodge of Scottish Masters of St. Andrew No 9 in the Order of the Knights Beneficent of The Holy City of the Rectified Scottish Rite of England & Wales
There to see Bro. Charles received was the Provincial Prior of Surrey, Rt.Em.Kt. Patrick Crossan, the Provincial Sub Prior, VE.Kt. Chris Craddock, the Provincial Registrar, E.Kt. Hugh Saville and the Provincial Marshal, E.Kt. Chris Eley. There were also many other Surrey Knights present.
The ceremony was conducted at the East Brighton Masonic Centre in Peacehaven, East Sussex, by the Worshipful Deputy Master, Revd. Kt. Martyn Wilson, KBHC, and his Officers. The Master of Ceremonies was Revd. Kt. Kelvin Gane, KBHC, the Provincial Marshall of Kent; and the Assistant Master of Ceremonies was Squire Novice Chris Eley, the Provincial Marshall of Surrey.
Afterwards the Brethren of the Suth Seaxe Lodge of Scottish Masters of St Andrew and their guests sat down to a splendid lunch at the East Brighton Masonic Centre.
