After the Preceptory was opened the Provincial Marshal, E.Kt. Chris Eley, entered and advised the Eminent Preceptor, E.Kt. Adrian Hawkins that R.E. Knight Patrick P Crossan, Provincial Prior of Surrey, along with a number of Provincial Officers of the year, was in the ante-room and demanded admission to the Preceptory. The Provincial Prior of Surrey entered and was greeted by the Eminent Preceptor. The Provincial Prior was then saluted with 7 after which he greeted everyone and took the muster roll, the minutes and the accounts.

The Provincial Prior invited V.E.Kt. Chris Cradock to take the baton for the ceremony of Installation of a new Preceptor. V.E.Kt. Chris installed the Eminent Preceptor in an excellent and very sincere manner. The Preceptory then took a ballot to make R.E. Knight Patrick Crossan an Honorary Member of the Preceptory. The Provincial Prior thanked the Knights of Kyngstun Preceptory for the honour conferred. The Eminent Preceptor then closed the Preceptory.

E.Kt. Adrian Hawkins opened a Priory of Knights of Malta and invited E.Kt. Chris Cradock to install the Prior of Kyngstun Preceptory.

After the Priory was closed the Knights of Kyngstun Preceptory and their many guests dined together in fraternal union at the Surbiton Masonic Hall.
