A visit to St Saviour’s Preceptory
In March, St Saviour’s Preceptory No 338 were pleased to welcome the Provincial Prior of Surrey, R.E. Knight Patrick Crossan, along with the Provincial Sub Prior, V.E. Knight Chris Cradock (both honorary members of the Preceptory).
VE.Kt. Chris Cradock acted as Chaplain, E.Kt. Miguel Godfrey acted as Marshal and E.Kt. Chris Eley acted as Deputy Marshal. After the Preceptory was opened the Provincial Prior was saluted with 7 to which he responded warmly.
VE.Kt. Chris Cradock was invited by the Eminent Preceptor, E.Kt. Perry Harman, to give a ‘chat’ entitled ‘The First Crusade and Beyond’. This interesting and informative talk was well received and prompted some discussion afterwards.
The Provincial Prior was then invited to present Malta Certificates to Knights Phil Gaiger and Simon Tiptree, which he did in his own very special way.
After the Priory was closed the Knights of St Saviour’s Preceptory and their guests dined together in fraternal union at the Sutton Masonic Hall.
