The Eminent Preceptor, E.Kt. Brian Pulley, opened the meeting and welcomed everyone. The Registrar, E.Kt. Brian Hunter, read the Dispensation from the Provincial Prior enabling them to hold the meeting by Zoom and not at their regular meeting place. The Eminent Preceptor welcomed the three members of the Surrey Provincial Executive to the meeting thanking them for their support and hoping that they will enjoy the meeting.

The minutes of the regular Muster on 9th March 2020 were approved by the Bro. Knights present. The Registrar reported that a letter of thanks had been received from the St. John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital for the recent £100 donation following the 24 hour walk around ancient Knight Templar sites in London by members of Surrey Knights Templar. E.Kt. Brian Pulley was declared as Eminent Preceptor for the ensuing year and the 2020 Officers will remain in post for 2021.

The Provincial Prior, RE.Kt. Patrick P Crossan, gave an inspiring talk on how we should all be caring for our Bro. Knights during these difficult times. He said that those members who are living alone are particularly vulnerable and he asked the members present to pick up the phone and give them a ring to show that they are not forgotten. He also reported on the Provincial Church service and the Provincial Priors conference which had both taken place during lockdown.

He reported that two Zoom meetings have been held with Registrars and Almoners in the Province to keep them informed of the current situation during lockdown. He asked all members to look at the Provincial Website which contains photos and articles of other events that have taken place.

He stated that he intends to hold a Zoom meeting for all members of the Province before Christmas and details will be circulated by the Registrars nearer the date. The Provincial Prior closed by inviting the members present to join him in saying the Lords Prayer and he urged us all to Stay Safe and Keep Well.
